The good reviews that I looked at beforehand were really not exaggerated. Just don't be fooled by the name ... for me one of the best restaurants I've been to lately - small menu, but everything is freshly and very tasty prepared. I can only recommend!

At first it took a little longer before we could order. But when the food arrived, we were thrilled: good quality, very tasty, cleverly designed plates. So totally great!

Very comfortably furnished and super friendly service. We were lucky enough to get a seat for 2 even though the bar was full. The landlord gave us Carl's grandfather's old seat on a bench right by the bar. Probably the best place! The food was delicious and very nicely presented on the plate. Definitely stop there. However, you should make a reservation, not everyone will be as lucky as we were this evening.

If you want to sit in a friendly, cozy and chic style, this is definitely the place for you. The food is bombastic and the portions are not too small. We enjoyed it very much and would love to come back

Very cozy, very friendly, very tasty. The staff is great. Unfortunately only cash payments are possible. But it wasn't far to the next savings bank. 😁 Highly recommended. Gladly again. Were there earlier despite booked seats and were lucky.

Carl's pub, actually very misleading for someone who doesn't know it. Very far away from the pub. Small, good and clear menu that was presented to you by the boss himself and should actually be fair to everyone. The food, for me, almost perfect, everything absolutely fresh and delicious. Price performance fully justified. If it stays that way, we'd love to be our guests again on our next vacation.

It is supposed to be a very good restaurant, unfortunately nobody answers the phone for several days and therefore you cannot make a reservation. Getting a place spontaneously is also not possible. It's a shame, we would have liked to try it out.

Good food in a pleasant atmosphere! There was salmon on ribbon noodles! Simple and well presented. Not very cheap. The only downer, reservation necessary. At best a week in advance. We were lucky that a table was canceled.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to reserve a table, as no one can be reached even at the telephone number given here during opening hours. I tried to reach someone 6 times without success. What a shame!

A very cozy, small restaurant, we would have liked to sit on the terrace, but we got a place in the winter garden. Personally, I say that I have never tasted such an excellently prepared fish 🐟 anywhere else. Kudos to the cook. The ambience, the service, everything is just perfect.

Food was delicious and really freshly prepared. Service 1A! One star deduction, you can only pay with cash here ... nowadays card payments shouldn't be an issue, especially in the times of Corona, where you should pay as much as possible by card .....

Amazing little Restaurant with a - kind of - strange name. They have a short menu but every offer is worth trying. The fresh fish filets are outstanding even in comparison to other restaurants on Usedom. The interior is comfortable, almost cozy and the staff is friendly. Make a reservation though as it is not an insider Tipp anymore!

This is an outstanding restaurant. We absolutely loved the food. Thr Matjes Bruscetta as a starter as well as cod and perch dishes as main corses were out of this world. Nice setting and great service too. Highly recommendable!

Both fish soup and fish main courses are well prepared. Very cosy place. Best experience from our week long holiday here.
